In the tradition and with our accumulated experience since the 1990s of developing compact all-in-one devices with uncompromising sound quality, the new high-performance integrated amplifier INSPIRATION AS 2.3 was created based on the AVM X-STREAM Engine®. Numerous innovations have been incorporated and the new RC X app also controls the AS 2.3 completely. Device towers and overflowing cable clutter are no longer necessary, all modern connections are available so that a TV can also be connected via HDMI ARC. In order to achieve our goal of constructing one of the strongest sounding amplifiers on the world market with the smallest integrated amplifier, we have miniaturized proven sound technologies from our all-in-one flagship CS 8.3 and designed it in a screwless aluminum precision housing that is only 34 cm wide.

The main focus was on a completely modernized app control: The RC X app contains all the important functions in a clear manner. Extremely simple, intuitive operation as well as a clear and attractively designed user interface make managing even large music collections child's play. This makes you want to go on a journey of discovery for new music on numerous streaming platforms. The AVM RC X app is available for both iOS (Apple) and Android devices.

The new AVM X-STREAM Engine® can stream all high-resolution formats, including DSD (256). This streaming engine is a completely in-house AVM development and is completely software-based, so that it can be updated online in a future-proof manner. An HDMI (ARC) interface is also on board, as is a modern Bluetooth 5.0 connection. Additional digital inputs and a USB A interface are also standard. Further attention was paid to the high-performance phono input stage for MM and MC. This high-precision input stage was completely redesigned for installation in the compact AS 2.3. This ensures even better sound, especially in conjunction with our ROTATION record players. The digital outputs, which can also be used to control the volume, are completely new. TV devices can also be easily connected and conveniently controlled via the HDMI ARC input.

The AS 2.3 has also made a big leap in terms of pure sound quality. This is based on the use of a 140-watt amplifier stage, which effortlessly drives even power-hungry speakers at any volume. The completely new amplifier stages are based on the large CS 8.3 and have been optimized for use in the compact AS 2.3 housing.

The digital section in the AS 2.3 was completely redesigned as part of the new development, because this crucial part of the AS 2.3 is based on our decades of experience. A selected ESS from the new generation (9038 Q 2 M) is now used as the digital/analogue converter, which is also a clear improvement in terms of sound, which benefits all digital sources and reproduces all high-resolution formats perfectly and faithfully.
