Profi-Meinung
At Atoll, you only pay for what you really need and optimize the essentials. The DR 200, as a pure CD drive, has no analog outputs. It connects to your system via a digital-analog converter via Toslink, coaxial or AES-EBU. Particular attention is paid to a more than consistent linear power supply and a pleasantly smooth CD drive.
With the DR 200 Signature, ATOLL is making a new statement.
All stops have been pulled out to read CDs perfectly and provide the digital signals in their best form.
Jitter-reducing measures form the beginning of the chain: the TEAC CD drive made of vibration-inhibiting materials and the dampened chassis are the two most important components.
An LVDS circuit processes the digital signals.
These are then passed on to the AES/EBU, the coaxial and the optical SPDIF output via a 1:1 transformer in a galvanically isolated manner.
But what good is the best circuit technology without a stable power supply?
A special low-noise power supply with linear regulation supplies the digital section, the drive has its own power supply with high-current capacity.
Various stabilization circuits decouple the individual sections of the drive.
