Featuring both moving magnet and moving coil functionality, the Huei offers compatibility with a wide range of pickups thanks to extensive gain and impedance adjustment options. The Huei's high and low gain switch settings are easily accessible via the front panel controls, providing welcome flexibility.

Huei's advanced design offers (for the first time in a Chord Electronics phono preamp) ultra-low-noise microprocessor control of its key features, including a handy memory function. With multiple options for impedance-matching, eight-step switchable gain, and a switchable rumble filter, Huei's design offers comprehensive compatibility.

Constructed from solid aircraft-grade aluminum, the Huei has a similar form factor to the company's Qutest DAC and also features a viewing window on the top that allows a glimpse of the illuminated electronics inside. The design also features the same polychrome control spheres the company is known for on its digital products. The illuminated spheres on the front provide direct access to the Huei's gain and impedance settings, MM/MC cartridge selection, and access to the built-in rumble filter.

Huei is a stylish, practical and powerful solution for integrating turntables into Chord Electronics (and other) systems and features unbalanced (RCA) and balanced (XLR) outputs with RCA inputs. A high-quality external 12V power supply is also included.
