The Extreme models of the Sonance "Visual Performance" loudspeaker series were specially developed for outdoor, bathroom, wellness and sauna applications. Where the humidity is constantly very high, the loudspeakers should not rust and should retain their sound properties for a long time. Due to their dimensional stability at extreme temperatures (-34°C to +79°C) and long-term stability, the "Extreme" series is suitable for marine applications. The improved holding mechanisms ensure that the cover grille is held even more firmly on the loudspeaker.

Single stereo (SST) is a practical solution for small rooms. The left and right music signals come from a common cover grille. This means that no stereo signal is lost if there is little space on the ceiling. The SST loudspeaker is connected twice with 2-wire cables, like a pair of loudspeakers. The double arrangement of tweeters makes the same wide-beaming loudspeaker model usable for surround applications. To do this, the switch on the back is switched during installation and a loudspeaker cable is connected from the AV receiver.
