The Artera Play+ is the latest addition to the Artera range. The Artera Play+ combines the elegant user interface with the latest high-resolution audio technology. The CD player and DAC are a perfect match for the high-performance drive of the Artera Stereo. The heart of the Artera Play is an ESS Sabre32 9018 converter chip. The eight-channel delta-sigma converter has a resolution of 32 bits and records high-resolution audio files up to 32 bits / 384 kilohertz and the SACD formats DSD 64 / 128 / 256 via a USB connection. The preamplifier with Class A output stage has two optical, coaxial and analog inputs in addition to the USB connection. On the output side, there are TOSLINK, coaxial, cinch and XLR outputs. More than enough to connect additional HiFi components such as external D/A converters, active speakers or the matching two-channel amplifier Quad Artera Stereo.
