Sound first. While 8K and other exciting video and gaming features dominate the HDMI headlines, we at AudioQuest have created our best sounding HDMI cables yet with the 48 and eARC Priority Series HDMI cables.

The greater precision and tighter manufacturing tolerances required to produce HDMI cables with bandwidths up to 48 Gbps give AudioQuest's proven components and techniques even greater importance than before.

The Cinnamon 48 uses 1.25% silver-plated copper conductors that are directional for the best possible high frequency noise dissipation; the 4 FRL + eARC pairs are surrounded by a metal layer shield to further optimize noise dissipation.

48G

AudioQuest "48" HDMI cables can carry video up to professional 10K Ultra HD. The 48 Gbps is achieved through four balanced audio/video pairs, each capable of 12 Gbps. The precision and tighter manufacturing tolerances required to produce HDMI cables capable of up to 48 Gbps bandwidth give AudioQuest's proven components and techniques even greater importance than before.

8K/10K

AudioQuest's 48 Gbps HDMI cables have the bandwidth and resolution/refresh rate up to 8K/60 and 4K/120 required for video up to 10K resolution. All AudioQuest HDMI cables are fully backwards compatible with existing 4K displays.

Silver-plated copper conductors with 1.25% silver content (HDMI)

AudioQuest HDMI cables use increasing thicknesses of silver plating on the long grain copper conductors to improve noise dissipation. Using the higher quality material on the surface of the conductor provides the greatest benefit to overall performance - an outstandingly cost-effective way to optimize digital cables. The Cinnamon 48's conductors are made of silver-plated copper with 1.25% silver content.

Level 3 noise dissipation: carbon + metal + direction

Conventional "100% shielding" does not provide adequate protection against the increasing effects of WiFi, cellular and satellite radiation. All 19 conductors in AudioQuest HDMI cables are directional, reducing harmful RF noise by "bending" or redirecting it away from the most vulnerable circuits. Level 3 noise dissipation adds a lossy carbon layer placed between metal layers around the 4 FRL + eARC pairs to further optimize noise dissipation. Additional noise dissipation (Level 4 and up) is used as budget allows to further reduce noise.

eARC: 1.25% silver + Level 3 noise reduction

Because sound is important, the eARC conductors in AudioQuest's current HDMI cables get the same love and attention, high-quality metals, directional conductors, and noise-dissipating technologies as the main AV data pairs. The HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) carries audio from a TV to a soundbar or AV receiver, making system setup easier and more flexible. Until now, the hardware's ARC capabilities were maxed out at lossy (compressed) 5.1-channel surround sound. The current HDMI 2.1 hardware supports the Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC), which significantly increases bandwidth and carries uncompressed, lossless, high-resolution multichannel audio, including Dolby TrueHD and Atmos, as well as DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS:X.
