The Evoke's 14 cm diameter long-throw woofer/midrange driver is made of MSP (magnesium silicate polymer) - just like the best Dynaudio loudspeakers we have built since our founding in 1977. New frames are used here to increase the range, frequency response and dynamics in the bass range. At the same time, mids are reproduced with outstanding quality.

Want to know the secrets of the woofer? The diaphragm is 0.4mm thin and offers the optimal combination of lightness, rigidity and damping that ensures optimal playback performance. It is made in one piece (the dust cap is part of the playback surface) and is connected directly to the rigid fiberglass voice coil former with the balance ribs you see around the center dome. This means that the entire unit moves in a predictable (and carefully tuned) way. The bass and midrange reproduction is perfectly balanced here.

The 38mm voice coil itself is made of aluminum, making it extremely lightweight. This means that more windings are possible. More windings, in turn, allow us to have better control over the movement of the diaphragm, which means more control over the sound - even at high volumes and high frequencies. It is stabilized and centered by the Nomex centering spider - the spring assembly that ensures that the diaphragm only moves as desired and otherwise stays in place.

The entire assembly is powered by our new, high-performance Strontium Carbonate Ferrite+ ceramic magnet system.

At the very top we find the completely newly developed Cerotar fabric tweeter with a diameter of 28 mm. Our developers once again looked at two exceptional products: the tweeters of the multi-award-winning Dynaudio Special Forty and the high-end Confidence loudspeaker. Here they found key technologies that were incorporated into the Evoke loudspeakers. An invisible, yet spectacularly effective element of the ensemble is the Hexis - a cleverly designed inner dome behind the reproduction surface of the tweeter, which smooths the frequency response and eliminates unwanted resonances.

The Cerotar is – like the woofer – powered by a powerful Ferrite+ ceramic magnet system.

The connection between the chassis is made by a high-quality second-order crossover. The design is based on the Confidence's crossover, although other components are used, so when we say you're getting real high-end technology here, we mean it.

The Evoke 10 is available in four stunningly beautiful finishes: 'Black High Gloss', 'White High Gloss', 'Walnut Wood' and 'Blonde Wood'. The 'Gloss' variants are truly glossy products in the best sense of the word. New lacquering processes have allowed us to create an opulent, almost glass-like finish. The wood variants are characterized by a tactile, open natural veneer. Choose between a warm, dark color and a light wood tone.

You may also notice that there are no visible mounting screws on these speakers. On the Evoke, they are hidden under simple, elegant trim rings that show off the high-quality finish of the cabinet and the moving parts of the drivers. These rings are made from a single piece and are given the same structure as the cabinet during the manufacturing process - creating a coherent whole.
