High-end sound - easier than ever

We at Canton have developed new, technically and sonically excellent loudspeaker drivers that have found their way into the Smart Vento 9 S2. The chassis with matt shimmering titanium graphite membranes were developed with the aim of minimizing partial vibrations that damage the sound. In order to take the chassis to a new acoustic level, we processed and refined the previous titanium drivers using a complex chemical process.

Despite their lower weight, the new titanium graphite chassis are stiffer and have better damping, without any partial vibrations that damage the sound in the entire usable and crossover range of the chassis. The result: The speakers sound incredibly dynamic and at the same time remain wonderfully relaxed.

Elegant and effective: The housings

At Canton, enclosures don't just have to look good - they also have to meet our high technical requirements. We've come up with some ideas for the new Smart Vento 9 S2. In direct comparison with its predecessors, we've changed the basic shape of the loudspeaker and revised the enclosure radii. This means more internal volume is available, meaning the current models can be tuned with a wider bandwidth in the bass range.

The new design also ensures increased elegance and less influence on the sound from the housing itself. All of this means that our new Canton Smart Vento 9 S2 has a particularly clean, contoured and confident sound. We have also modified the base construction of the floor-standing speakers, which makes the Smart Vento 9 S2 seem to float above the solid base.

The new base also ensures that the speaker is not critical in its positioning. The Smart Vento 9 S2 looks particularly elegant and classy thanks to the multi-layered, high-gloss finish of the housing.

Highlights of the Smart Vento 9

The fully active Smart Vento 9 S2 are equipped with powerful amplifiers that provide 600 watts of power to each floor-standing speaker. The wireless signal transmission with 24-bit signal processing between the speakers ensures music playback in the highest quality.

To enjoy music in your home, all you need to do is connect a source device and the power cable - external amplifiers and speaker cables are no longer required. In the elegant bass reflex floor-standing speakers, the two titanium graphite woofer chassis in 192 mm format produce the deepest bass - maximum precision and enormous pressure are guaranteed. Our double cone and wave surround technology ensure sharp sound even at high volumes.

In the middle ranges, we use a 174 mm titanium graphite midrange driver in the Smart Vento 9 S2: its large membrane surface and the triple-fold wave surround as well as the powerful drive enable music reproduction that is always clear and authentic. The perfect addition comes in the form of our tried and tested and high-quality 25 mm tweeter dome with a membrane made of aluminum oxide ceramic.

For all purposes

Our Smart Vento 9 S2 are easy to set up and boast an enormous range of features. A wide variety of sources can be connected to the numerous inputs: analogue connections in high-quality XLR and RCA versions are available, as well as digital versions in optical and coaxial design.

The USB-XMOS interface provides the best possible sound connection with computers. Our Smart Vento 9 S2 streams music wirelessly via Bluetooth - thanks to aptX, this is possible with the highest sound fidelity. We include a selection of cables so that you can start playing music at home straight away. You can expand the Smart Vento 9 S2 with additional smart speakers from Canton and easily set up a multi-channel system.
