The V5 Corvus is a compact and elegant power purification and distribution strip measuring 380mm long, 170mm wide and just 50mm high. It has nine separately switched outputs, all connected directly to the circuit board. Most power filters of this type have interconnected, series-connected outputs - which is not particularly clever, as the differential mode noise generated by the connected electronics then spreads from one output socket to the other. The electrical architecture and construction of the V5 Corvus is far superior to such power strips.

The V5 Polaris' unique delta filter topology is ten times more effective than the recommended standard, delivering more than 20 dB of power optimization at 1 kHz (reference 600 ohms), which then improves to almost 42 dB at 10 kHz. Leading experts agree that at 10 kHz, radio frequency interference (RFI) begins to affect performance. This is also related to the amplifier's ability to reject power supply interference. This electrical engineering ensures top-notch filtering performance for both common mode (RFI) and differential mode interference. The conductive traces also have double the standard copper layer and are silver plated.

This unique circuit delivers clean power to its nine outputs - each independently isolated to prevent cross-contamination from differential mode interference. This is combined with Isotek's proprietary KERP© (Kirchhoff's Equal Resistance Path) technology to ensure equal resistance and consistent power delivery across all outputs. The internal wiring is to the highest standard, a unique 2mm² design using pure 6n oxygen-free copper conductor strands, each silver plated, providing low resistance and high current capability. An aerospace grade Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) dielectric with very low dielectric resistance is used to protect the conductors and provides an ideal dielectric for the conductor contact of the internal power system.

In addition, in the new V5 version, the overvoltage protection is increased to 45,000A, which not only protects the circuit but also your valuable connected equipment via IsoTek's unique sequential protection system.

The V5 Polaris also includes a System Link connector, which allows the existing 2 outputs to be extended while maintaining the star-shaped ground wiring and using only one wall socket for the entire system.

A wall mount system is also included, allowing easy mounting of the product behind your component rack if desired.

The internal wiring of the IsoTek products is designed to match the IsoTek power cables. By maintaining similarities in the design and material properties, optimal conductivity is ensured. The award-winning EVO3 INITIUM power cable is also included in the delivery.
