A separate power supply has been added to improve the separation of pre- and power amplifiers. This provides better decoupling between low and high level stages.

The phono and high-level sections now feature tightly tolerated MUSES operational amplifiers.

The Brio has a cleverly integrated headphone jack that functions without affecting the sound quality of the amplifier. Rega has paid particular attention to the switch that disconnects the speakers. It is a high-quality relay, as is also used in other Rega amplifiers.
